The IP telephone optiPoint 400 standard is a modern multi-functional telephone system for the connection to a data network. It can not be directly connected to an ISDN system or to a public telephone network.
The phone optiPoint 400 Standard was developed as a device for voice transfer and connection to LAN and is designed for office environments. It can also be operated as a standalone device.
You can use the optiPoint 400 standard just like a normal phone - the only difference being that your call is routed through a data network.
The phone is equipped with an Ethernet interface so that you can make calls using the TCP / IP protocol both within your own intranet or via the worldwide Internet.
