A Presentation of our Business Establishment

Founding and Building

The Biglari company was founded by Karim Biglari in 1988 in Munich Germany. In its first years, our primary business was the repair and refurbishing of telephones and accessory parts.

In 1992 the Biglari company acquired one major telephone assembly division from the Alcatel SEL AG company in Berlin. The Biglari company has been manufacturing parts and end devices ever since.

Our product portfolio has expanded considerably since.

During our business expansion, the Biglari company expanded into the refurbishing and trading of telecommunications systems of the Siemens, Telekom, and ALCATEL brands. Since 2007 other brands such as Cisco Systems, nortel, and AVAYA have been gradually added.

Today our company holds one of the biggest vendor independent spare parts warehouses for telecommunications components worldwide.

Plant Extension - Manufacture Made in Germany

In the year 2007 our new manufacturing plant in Bad Langensalza, Thüringen started operation. State-of-the-art manufacturing capacities where created and a year-round fully climatized high rack 3000 m² warehouse, specialized for electronic equipment, was built.

For the various fields of equipment such as terminal devices, hardware, and IT we employ highly specialized personnel and can thusly guaranty the best repair work.

Portfolio

We have specialized ourselves to the acquisition, repair, and distribution of ICT-components, with specialization toward the brands Siemens, Deutsche Telekom, Cisco Systems, and Alcatel. This includes, first and foremost, telecommunications systems of various sizes with up to thousands of subscriber stations with system telephones based on IP, U P0, ISDN S 0, and analogue technology.

We also trade and recondition IT infrastructures such as servers and appliances, voice-over-IP infrastructure elements, switches, server racks, as well as PCs and workstations.

Specialized Trade Partner

Owing to our years of experience in the international trade and in the reconditioning of ICT technology, we offer excellent support to system houses, distributors, and technical firms worldwide. The dependable supplying of accessory- and replacement parts for telecommunications infrastructures to our trade partners is an important element of our business strategy.

A professional team of highly motivated associates ensures a smooth work flow in the entire manufacturing process.

Environmental Protection

Our entire organization is certified according to the strict protective provision of the Federal Clean Air Act (BlmSchG). This means our company works under the terms of particularly high expectations to low environmental impact throughout the production cycle. We are also certified as a electronic recycling specialized company approved for a monthly capacity of approx. 300000 kg of electronic recycling material. This is regularly verified and approved by the TÜV Thüringen.

In addition, we operate a 100,000 watt PV solar roof- and a cogeneration system with 15 KW heating and 5 KW electric capacity, thus making an active contribution to environmental protection.
